HUAWEI CONNECT 2024: Amplify Intelligence

Since 2017, HUAWEI CONNECT has been the annual flagship event where we invite customers, partners, analysts, media, and industry experts to exchange information, share ideas, and learn from each other. While it is important for us to showcase our technology, it’s equally important for us to hear from the community, listen to their suggestions and opinions, and understand what our customers need.

HUAWEI CONNECT 2024: Amplify Intelligence

Although each year has the same 12 months, some years seem to pass faster then others. The past 12 months certainly seem to have gone by rapidly due to the unprecedented number of technological advancements, mainly around Artificial Intelligence. Startups around the world are launching new capabilities building on the rapid evolution of GenAI, LLM, and NLP. Almost daily the world is introduced to even more spectacular possibilities of Artificial Intelligence.

In the past 12 months, Huawei has also introduced numerous technological advancements, both in the field of AI and the technology that supports the use and distribution of AI. During Huawei Connect 2024 Huawei will reveal even more new technologies and solutions that will enhance society and improve the world we live in. Already Huawei has demonstrated how AI can be leveraged to protect endangered species such as the white-headed langur in China, and wild Atlantic salmon in Norway, and improve weather forecasting.

Huawei Connect 2024 will introduce new products, technologies and services, but also display solutions based on current technologies that enable enterprises and governments to grow their business or offer advanced services to their citizens. Key topics such as reducing power consumption to reduce CO₂ emissions, initiatives around closing the digital divide, and talent development will be discussed and promoted. Through keynote speeches, seminars, round-tables and our immense exhibition visitors can learn about all that’s new and exciting.

Since 2017, Huawei has launched new products and services at HUAWEI CONNECT that help customers on their digital transformation journeys. Whether it’s data storage, transfer, or processing, Huawei has been at the leading-edge of digital technology, and HUAWEI CONNECT is the moment for us to present new products and services to the world.

HUAWEI CONNECT 2023: Accelerate Intelligence

In 2023 Huawei Connect returned to the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center and the Shanghai EXPO Center, the location for the event from 2017 – 2019. With a large number of attendees from both China and overseas countries Huawei Connect 2023 was a major success after the more modest, regional events of the previous year.

During Huawei Connect 2023 several major solutions and technologies were introduced for the first time, such new intelligent industry solutions, Huawei Cloud Ascend AI, Cloud Stack 8.3, the O3 Community and much more. All these new solutions and new technologies allow operators, enterprises, governments, and consumers to accelerate their AI experience. It opens new opportunities for enterprises and partners, leveraging the power of AI and cloud to develop new products and services. 

HUAWEI CONNECT 2022

Running from September to November and themed ‘Unleash Digital’, HUAWEI CONNECT 2022 ran in Bangkok, Dubai, Paris, and Shenzhen.

Unleash digital emphasized the trend of digital transformation, which governments and industries are going through. This trend clearly accelerated during the pandemic, making many organizations realize that digital transformation is the only way to survive such unexpected events. At the same time, customer expectations have shifted even further, and only organizations that can meet those expectations will be able to thrive.

2021

In 2021, themed Dive into Digital, we unveiled breakthroughs in several domains and launched several new innovations, including:

• Digital meeting rooms: Powered by intelligent “Office Twins” and bridging the world with ubiquitous gigabit and seamless collaboration
• Huawei OptiXsense: Accelerating pipeline inspections in the oil and gas industry
• The industry’s first deterministic IP network solution: Making lights-out digital factories a reality
• H-OTN: Leading a revolution in secure production networks
• An industry-leading IP network solution: Enabling cross-region computing resource scheduling
• OceanStor Pacific: Ushering in an era of High Performance Data Analytics (HPDA)
• Huawei CC Solution: Building the industry’s first public diversified computing service platform

2020

In 2020, we introduced 5GtoB under the theme New Value Together, we revealed how enterprises can benefit from 5G alongside the following requisite architecture:

• 5G network operators
• Cloud service providers
• Service integrators
• Industry application developers.
• Digital Transformation (DX) Consulting Service

Built upon Huawei’s own successful transformation, our DX Consulting Service includes Huawei DX architecture and methodology.

2019

In 2019 (themed Advance Intelligence), we announced our strategy for the computing market and released Atlas 900, the world’s fastest AI training cluster. A powerhouse of AI computing, Atlas 900 makes AI more readily available for different fields of scientific research and business innovation.

2018

In 2018 (themed Activate Intelligence), we introduced the Artificial Intelligence (AI) portfolio, with the Ascend chipsets, development platform, training and inference framework, and other elements to create a full-stack, all-scenario AI solution.

In 2018, we also launched our FusionStorage business-critical cloud storage solution, which was well-received by customers and analysts.

2017

In 2017, we announced HUAWEI CLOUD, which quickly became the fifth largest and fastest growing provider of public cloud services in the world, with growth exceeding 200% year-on-year in 2020.

We’ve introduced many of Huawei’s big data analytics, IoT, and other innovative products and services at HUAWEI CONNECT, and all these solutions will help our customers with their Digital Transformation.

At HUAWEI CONNECT 2024, we’ll be presenting our latest solutions for enhancing the capabilities of our customers. Many of these innovations have been distilled after carefully listening to our customers, studying the markets and industries, and understanding trends and requirements.

Events like HUAWEI CONNECT allow us to interface with many customers and partners, who we encourage to provide feedback on our plans and strategies. In addition to our customers and partners, we expect to hear from international industry analysts and experts to share their opinions, giving us a deeper and broader perspective.

Organizing the event both online and offline also provides certain advantages: Live streaming over the Internet allows us to reach a much bigger audience, who can in return provide feedback, ensuring a truly global perspective.
