Apr 30: Huawei Releases AI Data Lake Solution to Accelerate Industry Intelligence

At the 4th Huawei Innovative Data Infrastructure (IDI) Forum in Munich, Germany, Huawei launched its AI Data Lake Solution, which is designed to accelerate AI adoption across industries.
By integrating data storage, data management, resource management, and the AI toolchain, the AI Data Lake Solution delivers a high-quality AI corpus and speeds up model training and inference, empowering enterprises to embrace AI
- Data storage: continuous innovation in performance, capacity, and resilience
- Data management: data visibility, manageability, and mobility across regions
- Resource management: pooling of diverse xPUs and intelligent scheduling of AI resources

Apr 23: Conch Group Partners with China Building Materials Federation and Huawei to Launch Innovative AI Model for Cement Industry

The China Building Materials Federation, Conch Group, and Huawei showcased the first AI model for the cement building materials industry in China’s Wuhu, marking a significant milestone in the digital transformation of the sector.
Since April 2024, the partners have identified over 200 promising AI application scenarios for the cement building materials industry across 15 categories. The AI operating system integrates central training, edge inference, cloud-edge synergy, continuous learning, and ongoing optimization.
Through real-time data analysis and autonomous learning, it has made significant breakthroughs in more than 40 scenarios in five categories:
- Quality control
- Production optimization
- Equipment management
- Safe production
- Intelligent Q&A
Apr 14: Phase Two of Tech4Nature Jaguar Protection Project Launched in Mexico

At the 2025 Tech4Nature Summit, Huawei, International Union of Conservation for Nature (IUCN), and local partners launched Phase Two of the Mexico Tech4Nature project, which aims to strengthen the protection of jaguars in Dzilam de Bravo State Reserve and study the effects of climate change on biodiversity.
While the first phase focused on recognizing the vocalizations and images of species, the second aims to gather data about the distribution of jaguar populations, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and improve reserve management with a view to creating a biological corridor.
As well as Mexico, Tech4Nature Phase 2 will also run projects in Brazil, China, Spain, Kenya, and Türkiye.

Apr 14: Huawei Launches Five Solutions to Accelerate Aviation Intelligence
During the Passenger Terminal Expo 2025 in Madrid, Huawei launched five aviation solutions:
- Huawei's Smart Airport Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) enables precise and efficient decision-making through all-domain situational awareness;
- Huawei's Smart Airport Perimeter Security Solution elevates airport operational security with fiber sensing technology;
- Huawei's Digital and Intelligent Platform for Airports based on cloud, data, and AI makes airport operations smarter, more efficient, and more secure;
- Huawei's Xinghe Intelligent Airport Integrated Data Network Solution uses Wi-Fi 7 for building a high-quality and highly reliable communication network;
- Huawei's Smart Airport All-Optical Network utilizes IP + POL (Passive Optical LAN) and provides more reliable, agile, and green infrastructure to high-quality carry multiple airport service systems.
Huawei works with its aviation partners to integrate novel technologies and create the architecture for intelligent digital twins that enhance operational efficiency, business value, safety and passenger experience.

At the Lightwave+BTR Innovation Innovation Reviews, Huawei won nine awards for the following solutions:
- Huawei OptiXtrans DC908 Pro Won the DCI Platforms award
- Huawei C+L Dual-band WSS Module Won the Optical Components award
- Huawei OptiXtrans DX808 Won the Optical Subsystems award
- Huawei OptiXtrans E9600/E6600 Series Won the Optical Transport Systems award
- Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 K36 Won the Optical Transport Systems award
- Huawei 50G PON Solution Won the FTTH/Optical Access Platforms award
- Huawei Premium Broadband Solution Won the Monitoring & Analysis award
- Huawei FTTR-B Solution Won the Wi-Fi Solutions award
- Huawei FTTO Solution Won the Wi-Fi Solutions award
This was Huawei's highest number of Lightwave Reviews honors and the most of any vendor this year, demonstrating the company’s technical leadership in the optical network field.
