Jun 30: TM Forum and Huawei Jointly Released Two Standard Reports: AI for BSS and Software Marketplaces Reference Architecture

At DTW 2025, TM Forum and Huawei released two standards reports, AI for BSS and Software Marketplaces Reference Architecture.
AI for BSS provides a clear and practical roadmap to help CSPs and vendors transform toward AI-centric BSS systems. It also empowers CSPs to significantly enhance operational efficiency, optimize customer experience, and ultimately drive business and revenue growth.
Software Marketplaces Reference Architecture v3.0.0 leverages TM Forum ODA components and TM Forum Open APIs, incorporating practical experience from Huawei's EEM (Enterprise Ecosystem Management) platform implementation and defining a standardized reference model for online marketplaces. It targets SME customers and helps CSPs design BSS systems using ODA components.

The report marked Huawei OceanStor Dorado All-Flash NAS Storage as a standout product in the following areas:

Jun 19: China Telecom and Huawei Debut 5G-A Intelligent Ultra Pooling Uplink Technology

At MWC Shanghai 2025, China Telecom and Huawei launched the innovative 5G-A Intelligent Ultra Pooling Uplink solution, which offers intelligent orchestration and uplink spectrum decoupling and pooling.
Designed to maximize multi-antenna uplink coverage, this technology leverages distributed user-centric network (UCN) and the real-time sharing of time, frequency, radio access technology (RAT), space, and power resources. It also introduces AI to build a wireless service bearer network that powers smart wearables, vehicle-to-everything (V2X), and real-time interaction with AI assistants.
Looking ahead, China Telecom and Huawei aim to build AI-integrated 5G-A networks that will lead the mobile industry in commercial use and applications.

Jun 19: Huawei and Industry Partners Win Four Prizes at the World's First New Calling x AI Challenge Launched by GSMA & GTI

Huawei and partners received four major awards for the world's first New Calling x AI Challenge at the GTI (Global TD-LTE Initiative) Summit held during MWC Shanghai 2025:
- "5G New Calling x AI In-Nanjing" and "Exploring the New Paradigm of stc Bank's Intelligent Customer Service by Deep Integration of New Calling and AI" project won the first prize
- "Service AI x Network AI Empowering the New Calling DC-based Customer Service" project won the second prize
- "A2A Intelligent Agent Interconnection Revolutionizing Communication Experience" project won the third prize
These awards prove the industry with successful cases of 5G-A and AI integrated applications and practical models for the innovative development of the New Calling industry.

Jun 18: Huawei and China Telecom Win TM Forum's Excellence Award 2025 in Data and AI Innovation

At the Digital Transformation World (DTW) 2025 hosted by TM Forum, the project AI Agents Driving New Era of O&M and Transforming Customer Experience jointly created by Huawei and China Telecom won the Excellence Award 2025 in Data and AI Innovation.
The partners established the Future Agent Joint Innovation Center and developed the Home Broadband Installation and Maintenance Agent and the Wireless Network Optimization Task Model. These developments have significantly enhanced O&M efficiency and helped upskill O&M personnel.
This award underscores the leading role of Huawei and China Telecom in the AI+network domain.
Jun 18: Huawei and China Mobile win TM Forum's 2025 Excellence Award for Autonomous Networks

At DTW 2025, Huawei and China Mobile won the Excellence Award for Autonomous Networks for the End-to-End Autonomous Network Operation Center (Dark NOC) solution.
The project focuses on high-value Autonomous Network scenarios, leveraging telecom foundation models and agents, and has achieved significant achievements in end-to-end automation, quality & revenue enhancement, and efficient O&M.
The successful implementation of the End-to-End Autonomous Network Operations Center (Dark NOC) Solution provides a valuable practical reference for global operators accelerating their journey toward L4.
June 17: Saudi Telecom Company and Huawei Jointly Release White Paper on AI-Powered Intelligent Transformation

Saudi Telecom Company (stc), in collaboration with Huawei, launched the White Paper An Intelligent Transformation Journey from Vision to Reality at OTF2025 in Copenhagen.
The paper presents a strategic vision, key practices for driving intelligent transformation in the telecommunications industry, and the critical role of converged data management.
June 16: Huawei's FDD Tri-Band Massive MIMO Wins Red Dot Design Award 2025

At Germany's Red Dot Award Design Competition, Huawei's FDD tri-band Massive MIMO earned the Red Dot Design Award for its exceptional performance and lean, energy-efficient design.
Since its commercial debut in Nigeria with MTN, the solution has been tested and deployed on over 20 networks across the globe.
The solution features five leading technological advantages: simplified ultra-wideband, ultimate capacity, enhanced uplink, native beamforming, energy saving.
